Ketoprak is a popular food in coastal areas of West Java, especially around Jakarta. Seller usually sell by using the wagon and get around to peddle ketoprak.

it's also easy to cook by yourself
Ingredient :
150 gr rice noodle
150 gr bean sprout
1 pack of white tofu, cut into medium size
1 cucumber, cut into small pieces
Peanut Sauce :
3 red chilli (add or less as you like)
2 bird chilli (add or less as you like)
50 gr peanut, roasted and mashed
3 garlic, mashed
2 tbsp tamarind water
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sweet soybean sause
100 cc hot water
Complement :
5 shallot (for fried shallot)
Kerupuk/Crackers
Cooking direction :
Boil rice noodle until smooth, drain
deep fried tofu until golden brown, drain
Peanut sauce :
Combine all ingredient of peanut sauce stir well (make it not too thick, if the sauce is too thick you can add little bit hot og water), adjust the taste and drain.
Prepare a plate, add rice noodle, fried tofu, cucumber, pour with peanut sauce and fried shallot
serve with kerupuk/crackers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I do notice that Indonesian love to add keropok on their fried rice or noodle dish, interesting!
